Sergio Busquets, Barcelona's captain, has proposed two conditions that could entice Lionel Messi to return to Camp Nou in the near future.
Last summer, Messi signed a free transfer with PSG after leaving his boyhood club Barcelona.
His chances of leaving PSG have increased when he was booed by his own fans following his Champions League defeat.
Busquets, on the other hand, feels Messi might return to Barcelona if Xavi Hernandez, the club's manager, opens the door for him and if he [Bisquets] promised the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner that he would give him the captain's armband.
"Of course, I miss him," Busquets stated to RAC1 (via MARCA). On and off the field. No one else could have given us or done what he did. He had a significant impact. It's natural to miss him after so many years. I'm sure he'll miss me as well."
"At first, it was difficult. It was a shock for us as well. We are still here, but image how difficult it was for him. Changing cities, teams, and styles. When you don't win, you are not happy. I wish him the best."
"I would like Leo to come back, but I understand how difficult it is. He has a contract, how he left. If Xavi informed him that the doors are open, he would come back."
