Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo was red carded against Valencia in Juve's Champions League group stage game on wednesday after he had a contact with a Valencia player.
Ronaldo was meant to serve a two match ban for his straight red card, which means he'll miss an away game to Young Boys on October 3rd and a home game against his former club, Manchester United, on October 16th.
After an appeal from Juventus board, asking UEFA to rescind the red card decision, as it was shown on the replay that Ronaldo barely made any contact with the Valencia player. UEFA has hearken to their cry and has accepted to let Cristiano Ronaldo miss only a match instead of two. Hence, Ronaldo will be available to face his old club Manchester United on 16th of October 2016.
