Finally, Sadio Mane has scored once more for Bayern Munich.
The Senegalese superstar scored for the German team against Bayer Leverkusen, ending a four-game scoring drought.
Bayern Munich jumped out to an early lead with a goal from Mané, his third of the first half. In the 39th minute, the ex-Liverpool player slammed the ball home from just inside the box.
His scoring woes have received a lot of attention. Mané has been in the news recently because many people thought he was dissatisfied with the club.
Mané excelled on the wing while playing for Liverpool, so head coach Julian Nagelsmann toyed with the idea of switching him there. The club's sporting director also gave him his support, adding that Mané just needed some time to get used to his new surroundings.
Mané's goal put the finishing touches on a strong first half. However, Jamal Musiala was the highlight of the opening 45 minutes. He scored the first goal, assisted on the next two goals, and created the third goal, which was scored by Mané.
The 19-year-old was involved in every big moment and controlled the game like a seasoned pro.
