Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed that three of the club’s new signings will be ready to play against Arsenal on Sunday.
Arsenal will trade tackles with Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday in what happens to be the biggest match of the weekend.
He revealed that his summer signing, Rasmus Hojlund, has returned to action.
The Denmark international has been declared fit and could make his debut this weekend.
Ten Hag also revealed that the Red Devils’ latest signing, Sergio Reguilon, could also feature at Arsenal.
The player has trained with the team ahead of the announcement of his loan move.
Hojlund, the Denmark forward, joined the Red Devils at the start of August for a fee rising up to £74 million from Atlanta but has yet to feature due to a back complaint.
However, the manager says he is fit to feature against Arsenal, when new goalkeeper Altay Bayindir and left-back Reguilon will also be available for selection.
Yes, Hojlund will be available,” Ten Hag told reporters on Saturday.
“He had a good training week, so tomorrow we have the final training. But he is doing well and responding well, so yeah, he will be available for Sunday’s game.
“(Bayindir) will be in the squad as well, Altay, so happy.
“Now we have the keeper group fully there. We covered every position, so I think we have a very good keeper group with the arrival of Altay.”
Asked if Reguilon could be involved at the Emirates Stadium, the United boss said: “He is here; he trained. Yes (he will also be available for Sunday).”
