Manchester United legend Gary Neville has altered his previous Premier League top-four predictions.
The former Premier League defender has now added Newcastle United to the list of clubs to qualify for next season’s Champions League
The United legend, in his previous predictions, omitted the Magpies and insisted they would miss out in the end.
Newcastle United are now in the driver’s seat of the race for the Premier League's top four, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City sealing their places.
Newcastle United, Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Tottenham Hotspur are now battling for the final two spots.
“I didn’t have them [Newcastle] down as top-four probably three weeks ago, and even after the [Manchester] United game, I thought, Well, they’ve got three tough away games now in West Ham, Brentford, and Aston Villa’.
“But looking at them now, watching them closely against Manchester United, where I thought they were absolutely brilliant, I think they will finish in the top four now because their confidence will be so high.”
