Arsenal's chances of capturing the Premier League championship this season are "50-50," according to former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher.
With 63 points through 26 games, the Gunners are in first place, five points ahead of champions Manchester City.
According to Carragher, if Arsenal can hold onto their lead over City for the ensuing two weeks, they will greatly increase their chances of ending their 19-year title drought.
“I’ve been going with Arsenal of late. I do think it’s 50/50.
“I do think Arsenal needs the lead that they’ve got on Manchester City.
“I think City are stronger in a lot of areas in terms of what they have got off the bench to change a game, and I just think that Arsenal need to get to the international break in the same position,” Carragher said on Monday Night Football.
