Former Arsenal defender Mikael Silvestre has urged Manchester United to prioritise the signing of Harry Kane over Rasmus Hojlund.
Manchester United must ensure they bring in a striker this summer if they want to battle shoulder-to-shoulder with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal for the Premier League title.
After an initial move to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham, the Red Devils appear to have cooled their interest in the England international and are now reportedly centred on the Atalanta starlet.
Speaking to GGRECON, Silvestre stated that the Red Devils should not miss out on Kane because of their pursuit of Hojlund.
He said: “Harry Kane and Rasmus Højlund are two different propositions for Man Utd. You have the finished article and superstar in Harry Kane, and then you have the young, up-and-coming talent in Højlund.
“These two players are not in the same bracket, and I believe the number one target should be Harry Kane and the second choice target should be Højlund.”
