Josh Maja, a Nigerian forward, is expected to join Birmingham City on a permanent basis from Girondins Bordeaux in the Sky Bet Championship.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, predicts Maja will sign a five-year deal with the Blues.
Due to an injury, the 23-year-old was sidelined for the first half of the previous season.
The Nigerian, however, played the second half of the season for Stoke City, a different Sky Bet Championship team.
Maja also once had a stint with another Premier League club, Fulham.
The striker joined Bordeaux from Sunderland in 2019.
He has been capped once at international level by Nigeria.
