Norwegian club ODDS BK has officially secured the signing of talented Nigerian midfielder Adam Mukhtar after an impressive trial, DAILY POST reports.

Mukhtar, who previously played for Nigeria National League (NNL) side Sporting Lagos, has signed a contract with the club until 2027. His outstanding performances during his trial period convinced ODDS BK to offer him a long-term deal.

Expressing his excitement, Mukhtar described the move as a dream come true.

“I am incredibly happy and excited. This is a moment I have been waiting for my whole life, and it is the biggest moment of my career so far,” he told the club’s official website.

Transitioning to European football can be challenging for young African players, but Mukhtar is determined to rise to the occasion.

“Football is football, but the tactics and playing style here are a bit different from what I’m used to. I hope to adapt quickly because I already feel this is a step up from football in Africa. My teammates and coaching staff have been fantastic, helping me both on and off the pitch. I really feel at home here,” he added.

With his determination and support from the club, Mukhtar is poised to make a strong impact at ODDS BK.
