Word on the street is that Arsenal is eyeing up some Super Eagles strikers ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to reports from the Daily Mirror, Edu Gasper, Arsenal's director of football, has already put together a list of 10 potential signings.

Among those catching Arsenal's attention are Victor Osimhen from Napoli and Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen, both of whom are Nigerian internationals. But they're not the only ones on the radar – Ivan Toney, Alexander Isak, and Viktor Gyokeres are also in the mix.

Arsenal's attack has been pretty impressive this season, with 70 Premier League goals to their name. But it seems they're looking to strengthen their striking options for next season.

Mikel Arteta has been experimenting with Kai Havertz as a false nine due to Gabriel Jesus' injury, but it looks like they'll be going back to a traditional number nine setup next season.

Osimhen, who was ranked eighth in the world in the 2023 Ballon d’Or list, had a stellar season last year, helping Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years.

Meanwhile, Boniface has been in fine form for Leverkusen, despite being sidelined with a groin injury for a while.

Here's the shortlist put together by Edu Gasper:

- Ivan Toney (Brentford)

- Alexander Isak (Newcastle)

- Viktor Gyoekeres (Sporting CP)

- Victor Osimhen (Napoli)

- Lois Openda (RB Leipzig)

- Benjamin Sesko (RB Leipzig)

- Evanilson (Porto)

- Brian Brobbey (Ajax)

- Santiago Gimenez (Feyenoord)

- Victor Boniface (Bayer Leverkusen)

Looks like Arsenal is gearing up for an exciting summer transfer window! Let's see who they end up bringing in to bolster their attacking lineup.
