Flying Eagles midfielder Victor Eletu has said the Young Azzurri of Italy will be a tough nut to crack for his team in their second group game at the ongoing 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The AC Milan youngster, however, posited that the Flying Eagles have enough quality to beat the Europeans.
Eletu, however, warned that the Flying Eagles must play as a team to emerge victorious.
“It will be a tough game (vs. Italy) as three or four of their players have already played for their first-team clubs,” Eletu told NFF TV.
“The only way we can beat them is to play as a team.
“We will give our best to qualify for the next round.”
Italy tops Group D with three points, having defeated Brazil 3-2 in their opening fixture.
The Flying Eagles occupy second place with the same points but have an inferior goal difference.
