Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has claimed that Inter Milan is a “bigger club” than them.
Guardiola stated this while speaking with BT Sport ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final.
City are looking to win the trophy for the first time, while Inter want to end a 12-year wait for it after winning it under Jose Mourinho in 2012.
“I saw Inter’s games, and we tried to do our game. Everything ends with a game, and the team that performs best over 95 minutes will win.
“Inter Milan is bigger than us in terms of history in this competition, and we are favorites to win the game, but what’s important is that, at 10 p.m. Istanbul time, we do the best performance possible, and that can make the difference,” Guardiola said.
