The UEFA Champions League quarter-final fixtures are officially set following the conclusion of the Round of 16 on Wednesday night.

Aston Villa will go head-to-head with Paris Saint-Germain in the first quarter-final clash. Unai Emery’s side capitalized on their numerical advantage to dominate Club Brugge with a 3-0 victory, thanks to a Marco Asensio brace and a goal from Ian Maatsen. Meanwhile, PSG secured their spot after a dramatic 4-1 penalty shootout win over Liverpool, following a 1-1 aggregate draw.

In another thrilling showdown, Inter Milan will battle Bayern Munich. Vincent Kompany’s men outclassed Bayer Leverkusen over two legs, winning 3-0 at the Allianz Arena before Harry Kane and Alphonso Davies sealed a commanding 5-0 aggregate triumph. Inter, on the other hand, edged past Feyenoord with a 2-1 win at the San Siro.

Barcelona is set to face Borussia Dortmund in a blockbuster encounter. The LaLiga giants advanced after overcoming Benfica, while Dortmund knocked out Lille to book their spot.

Elsewhere, Arsenal will take on 14-time champions Real Madrid, who needed penalties to eliminate title holders Atletico Madrid in a thrilling contest.

The Champions League quarter-final matches are scheduled for April 8 and 9.
