From the stables of Kherut Films comes "The Miracle Centre", an engaging satire on a corrupt education system, promises to entertain and create converations about the goings-on in society.
The star studded movie, set in a fictional Panya village and shot in Ibadan, Oyo State, stars an ensemble cast including Yemi Sodimu, Hafeez ‘Saka’ Oyetoro, Ayo Mogaji, Femi Adebayo, Ayobami ‘Woli Agba’ Ajewole, Etinosa Idemudia, Samuel‘Bro Shaggi’ Perry, Rotimi Salami, Odunlade Adekola, Rachel Okonkwo, May Owen, Muyiwa Donald, Chinoso ‘Nons Miraj’ Uka and a host of others.
The plot starts with Mr. Greg, a new principal arriving at Panya Grammar School to find no eduction taking place but all manners of shocking business activities: the staff room converted into a shopping centre, students used as farm labour and an exam rigging service led by the unscrupulous vice principal. Principal Greg's determination to create a corrupt-free learning institution provides the central conflict in the comedic story.
Other thematic preoccupations in the film include a glimpse into agriculture as a cash generator for society, and issues of change and social justice, which are brought to light the new principal.
The message of change offers a ray of hope that things can get better if members of society are themselves the instrument of change.
The Miracle Centre is produced by Bode Odetoye and directed by award-winning, London based director Niyi Towolawi.

The Miracle Centre hits the Cinemas on January 1st, 2021.
