You know that skit maker and content creator, Yemi Elesho? Well, he's been talking about Asake, the singer.

They both went to the same university, you know, Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife.

Elesho says that back then, Asake couldn't afford a place to stay during his four years there. He had to rely on his friends for accommodation.

But now that Asake has become famous, Elesho says he's been ignoring those same friends who helped him out. He thinks it's kinda natural, though, because Asake can't keep up with everyone now that he's made it big.

Elesho mentioned all this in an interview with Echo Room.

He said that even though some of Asake's old pals are upset that he's not responding to their messages, it's just the way things go sometimes.

In case you didn't know, Asake joined YBNL Nation in February 2022. That same month, he dropped his first EP called "Ololade," featuring his hit song 'Omo Ope' with Olamide, and another track called 'Sungba.'

So, what do you think about all this?
