Due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, half of Justin Bieber's face is paralyzed.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome (herpes zoster oticus) is a shingles complication that affects the facial nerve near one of your ears.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome can include facial paralysis and hearing loss in the afflicted ear, in addition to the severe shingles outbreak.

In a recent video, the musician conveyed the terrible news to his followers.

According to him, the paralysis was caused by a virus that infected his left ear, as evidenced by the fact that one side of his face appears to be affected in the video.
