Popular Nigerian actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has fired back at a fan who questioned when she planned to buy a Lamborghini, following the ongoing drama surrounding singer Burna Boy.

The controversy started after socialite Sophia Egbueje accused Burna Boy of failing to fulfill his alleged promise of gifting her a Lamborghini in exchange for intimacy. The claim has since sparked reactions from several celebrities, including Daddy Freeze, Angela Okorie, and Portable.

Adding fuel to the discussion, BBNaija star Mercy Eke recently showed off her newly acquired Lamborghini, further intensifying the social media frenzy.

During a live Snapchat session, Funke Akindele responded sharply when a fan, @Adekunle, asked, "When are you buying a Lamborghini?" Annoyed by the comment, the actress warned, “Is everything a joke to you people? I will block you. You all just want to trend and bring drama to other people's pages.”

Her response has since gone viral, with fans debating the culture of celebrities being pressured into extravagant purchases.
