Ade Ebenezer Olufemi, better known by his stage name Olakira, a fast-rising Nigerian singer, believes there is no need to boast about one's achievements or wealth.

In a Saturday post, Olakira stated that data don't lie, therefore there's no need for boasting.

Unnecessary boasting, he claims, turns you into an empty barrel.

"Needless bragging makes you an empty barrel, stats don't lie," he tweeted.

This comes after Burna Boy boasted about being Africa's highest-paid musician.

He claims to know how much everyone makes and that he is wealthier than Wizkid and Davido combined.
