The list of 2023 nominees has been made public by AFRIMMA, the organization behind the Africa Muzik and Magazine Awards.



Davido, a well-known afrobeat performer from Nigeria, is up for six awards, including Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year. Rema and Burna Boy came in second and third, receiving three nominations each, while Tiwa Savage, Odumodublack, and Omah Lay each received two nominations.

On Thursday, AFRIMMA posted the 2023 edition nomination list to its official website.

On September 17, the ceremony will take place at Dallas, Texas's Monumental Meyerson Symphony Center.
