Nigerian superstar Davido has allegedly threatened popular social media commentator, Radiogad, over criticism of his highly anticipated album, 5ive.

The controversy began after Radiogad reviewed a snippet from 5ive and condemned its quality, advising Davido to quit music. In response, the award-winning singer reportedly slid into Radiogad’s DM, warning him to take down the video review and stop discussing him online.

A leaked chat on X (formerly Twitter) revealed Davido’s stern words, accusing Radiogad of undermining his hard work. The social commentator, however, refused to back down, instead posting the exchange online and urging the public to hold Davido responsible should anything happen to him.

Radiogad wrote:

"Davido came into my DM last night and threatened to ‘Kpai’ me. If anything happens to me or my family, know that Davido is behind it. As a social commentator, I have the right to express my views on social media, and I’m not scared of anyone. Just thought I should let you guys know. Evidence of his messages is attached."

The incident has since sparked discussions online, with fans reacting to both sides of the drama.
