The Ogun State Government has strongly criticized popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, for his actions against officials of the State Planning and Development Permit Authority.
The incident occurred at his bar in the Iyana Ilogbo area of Sango Ota, where government officials were reportedly assaulted while carrying out their duties.
According to reports, this is not the first time Portable has engaged in such confrontational behavior. His actions have been described as disruptive and unacceptable, causing distress to both the government and the residents of the area. The government has vowed to take appropriate legal action to address the situation.
Kayode Akinmade, the Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Information and Strategy, stated that the attack was unlawful and would not be tolerated. He emphasized the government' s commitment to upholding order and ensuring that no individual, regardless of status, is above the law.
