Eedris Abdulkareem, a seasoned vocalist from Nigeria, has been diagnosed with kidney failure.

As the artist is getting ready to have a kidney transplant in Lagos, his family used social media to ask Nigerians for their support and prayers. Eedris has been receiving dialysis since receiving a recent kidney failure diagnosis, according to a message posted on his Instagram page.

I ask you to please pray for Edris AbdulKarem.

Eedris Abdulkareem, the "Nigeria Jaga Jaga," famed Nigerian Hip Hop Czar, Social Crusader, and Rights Activist, needs the sincere and unwavering prayers of all Nigerians and his admirers throughout the world during these trying times.
The CEO of Lakreem Entertainment Inc. recently received a renal failure diagnosis, and since the diagnosis at a recognized hospital, he has been receiving dialysis.
The date for the transplant surgery is now fixed for the end of this month of July, and all arrangements and texts have been concluded, including certifying the compatibility status of the gracious donor (a family member).
Therefore, on behalf of the Abdulkareem family and Lakreem Entertainment Inc., we most sincerely ask for prayers and good wishes for Eedris as we face these challenging times.
It’s pertinent to add here that, thankfully, Eedris is full of life and in high spirits, as he is bustling to go. Definitely, he’s going to come out of this and blaze up the musical stage again in due course.
Actually, his spirit emboldens us.
We shall be updating you as we continue with this life-saving process. May God continue to bless, protect, and abide with us all... Amen "

M.I Abaga also took to Twitter to urge Nigerians to donate money for Eedris Abdulkareem’s kidney transplant. See MI’s post below;
