Nigerian music sensation Michael Adebayo Olayinka, widely known as Ruger, recently spoke out about his departure from Jonzing World, citing issues with the label's handling of his career.

Ruger expressed gratitude for the platform Jonzing World provided but stated that he chose not to renew his contract due to feeling underserved in terms of brand promotion.

In a series of candid social media posts, Ruger accused D'Prince, his former label boss, of neglecting him and funneling his earnings into scouting new talents rather than supporting his own career development. Despite wanting to share more about his experience, Ruger expressed fear of retaliation.

Ruger officially parted ways with Jonzing World on February 6, 2024, after the expiration of his contract. In an Instagram announcement, he thanked the label and D'Prince while affirming his decision to pursue new opportunities independently.
