Nigerian lawyer, Reno Omokri, has advised his fans never to take sides against their family in public.

According to a recent Tweet, a Nigerian activist shared that it is better to criticize one’s family in public rather than in private.

It is advised to defend one’s stupid brother as wise in public, rather than make him look like an idiot in the face of outsiders.

He wrote:

Never publicly take sides against your family. If your brother is stupid, defend him as someone wise in public.

But when you are alone, discipline him and call him an idiot to his face.

As far as family is concerned, you praise publicly and rebuke very privately.
