Reno Omokri, a Nigerian activist and public speaker, has taken to Twitter to educate Nigerian celebrities.

Reno Omokri urged Nigerian celebrities to be sensitive to the country's emotions, noting that hundreds of citizens had been ruthlessly killed in cold blood just 48 hours earlier.

He also advised people not to upload sexy or half-naked images of themselves right now.

Reno stated on his Twitter account that celebrities should use their platforms for more important causes.

He wrote on Twitter.

Please be aware of the national mood as celebrities. During a church service 48 hours ago, many of our citizens were killed in the #OwoMassacre.

Maybe this isn't the best moment to post gorgeous, half-naked images. It portrays us all as callous, degenerate people!

As a celebrity, you have clout. The #OwoMassacre took place.

Rather than helping victims, you use your popularity to promote your semi-nakedness. Is now the correct time to do so?

For everything there is a season, and for every activity under the sky there is a time (Eccl 3:1).
