According to well-known singer David Adeleke, aka Davido, the most "rugged" candidates win elections in Nigeria.

The statement was made by the singer on his X page on Wednesday.

He wrote, “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass.”

Davido answered a question from a curious fan by saying that tough men were on his uncle's side, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State.

The fan with the X handle @chief_ochuko wrote via the comment section; “Na ruggedity ur uncle take win Abi?”
Davido replied, “Men mount.”
