Following a recent Psy concert, the South Korean city of Yeosu demanded that Jinnam Stadium be "severely damaged" and returned to its original condition.

On August 15, KBS News reported that Psy's concert on August 6 at the venue, which drew 28,000 concertgoers, had left the floor of Jinnam Stadium in Yeosu City, Jeollanam-do with "severely damaged."

The 600 square meters of elastic flooring that covered the stadium, according to the report, had been "badly dented and torn off" after the concert. The multi-use sports complex in Yeosu City, which caters to both locals and tourists, includes the Jinnam Stadium.

Once Yeosu City's investigators concluded that the damage was brought on by the use of a forklift to transport stage equipment, they demanded help from Psy's concert organizers in repairing the venue.

Ahn Bo-hyeon, the city's deputy director of its sports support division, told KBS News that the facility must be brought back to its original state before the permit can be issued. Ahn added that the city would talk with the concert organizers about a review and restoration plan to fix the damage.

As of writing, neither Psy nor his agency, P Nation, have addressed the claims and demands made by Yeosu City.
