The No Stress artist is making headlines after failing to appear for his prize at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Wizkid defeated Fireboy DML, CKay, Tems, Focalistic, and Joeboy to win the Best African Artiste of the Year title, but he did not attend the ceremony.

The omission was a major embarrassment for the presenter, Prince David Osei, who appeared befuddled as he proceeded to summon Wizkid and his representative to accept the prize.

Nigerians on Twitter have commented that the Wizkid awards snub is getting out of control. According to the majority, Wizkid and his team would have sent someone to Ghana to attend the award show and collect the award if he eventually won.

Wizkid FC are certain their fave wasn’t aware of the award show and, for that reason, he didn’t send a representative.
