Nollywood star Jim Iyke has expressed deep sorrow following the tragic passing of his fellow actor, Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope.

The sad incident occurred when Junior Pope and three others lost their lives in a boat accident on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a film shoot.

Mourning the loss of the 'Secret Adventure' actor, Jim Iyke conveyed his profound grief, acknowledging the pain of this particular loss. Taking to his Instagram page, he expressed his inability to question God's will but admitted to grappling with numerous unanswered questions and an indescribable heaviness in his heart.

In his tribute, he wrote, "Dear God, while I accept the nature of life's losses, this one hits differently. My heart is overwhelmed with anguish and uncertainty. Though I cannot comprehend the reasons, I submit to your divine plan. Rest peacefully with God, JP. Farewell, my dear brother."
