Timi Dakolo, a Nigerian singer, has chastised the APC and its planning committee for utilizing his song, Great Nation, during their current convention without his consent.

Timi Dakolo believes it is unjust for politicians to believe they can do anything they want, including borrowing an artist's song without permission.

He claimed that this is the second time politicians have used his music to promote their campaign, but he is not a fan of that lifestyle and that they should get his permission before doing so.

"Why use an artist's song at a rally or campaign without their permission?" In this country called Nigeria, people get away with a lot of things. This is the second time I've done it."
