Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka Wizkid, has revealed that his football friends often get mad at him because he doesn’t contribute when they discuss football.

The ‘Essence’ crooner said he doesn’t watch football despite having a lot of footballers as friends.

Wizkid, who disclosed this in a recent interview with Kiss FM in London, however, said he plays football.

The father of four said he plays center-forward.

He said, “I actually don’t watch football, to be honest. I have a lot of footballers as friends; they get mad at me when they are talking football, and I don’t know what they’re talking about.

“I don’t watch football, but I play. I play center-forward.”
