Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, has disclosed two elements that will determine how long the conflict between Russia and Ukraine lasts.
Remember that the Russian-Ukraine conflict began in February of this year.
Several casualties have already been reported as a result of the war as of today.
Due to political tensions between the two neighboring countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin authorized the invasion of Ukraine.
However, in his most recent nightly speech to Ukrainians, Zelensky claimed it is difficult to forecast how long the war will last, citing two elements as determining the conflict's duration: "the success of Ukraine's forces on the battlefield" and "sanctions against Russia."
Of course, I also hear different predictions. "I have much more information than some media outlets about the intentions and capabilities of the Russian army,” Zelensky said, according to the BBC.
He added, “The success of our military on the battlefield is really significant. Historically significant But not enough to clean our land from the occupiers yet. We will beat them more.
Sanctions against Russia are very significant. economically painful. But it is still not enough for the Russian military machine to be left without a means of subsistence. We promote stronger, more destructive ones.
If someone says "years or years," I answer, "you can make the war much shorter.”
