Falz, a Nigerian rapper and activist, has urged young people to cast ballots in the upcoming presidential election on Saturday.

Falz urged Nigerians not to use any justifications for not casting a ballot in a video that was posted on his Instagram page on Sunday.

He asserts that it is now time for the youth to make decisions about their future.

"Oya election don come oooo, this is my PVC; I'm sure you have yours and are prepared to cast your ballot," he said. What's the point of voting if my vote won't be counted, I don't want to hear any of that nonsense.
This is 2023, and with everything we're going through, if there are still people saying that, then really and truly I don't know what is wrong with them. Oh God, please don't annoy me.
Falz, who urged Nigerians to vote against bad leadership, pointed out that the Labour Party movement has quickly developed into a potent third force.
”Forget about all those pessimists, all those cynics that are coming to you, all those irresponsible people that apparently love to suffer and want to keep this status quo, forget about those people and just focus on the goal,” he said.

He added that the goal for 2023 is that the people will have decided who rules them.

The main contenders in Saturday’s presidential election are the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Labour Party, LP, and the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP.
