The leadership of the Action Alliance (AA) on Thursday in Lagos dispelled the rumoured litigation instituted against the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen.

Bola Tinubu.

Mr. Adekunle Omoaje, National Chairman of AA, said in a statement that the APC presidential standard bearer had not committed any offence that would warrant a court case against him by the party.

Recall that the purported suit against Tinubu, reported in some sections of the media on Wednesday, asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission from including the name of the All Progressives Congress on the ballot for the 2023 presidential election.

Reacting to the suit, Omoaje said: “It has come to the notice of the leadership of Action Alliance that a suit was purportedly filed on behalf of the party at the Federal High Court, Abuja against the All Progressive Congress and its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
