The Court of Appeal reiterated that Shaibu remains the Deputy Governor and warned any other person parading himself either by himself, privys or servants to stop or face the legal consequences.

It will be noted that the Edo State house of Assembly impeached Shaibu early this year but he approached the court which he got granted a favourable judgement in July.

The House of Assembly approached the court to overturn the ruling of the high court but the Appeal court Upheld the ruling instead.
