Following the destruction of one woman's goods in Ebonyi yesterday by one commissioner in the state, the senator representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, Senator Obinna Ogba has given an undisclosed amount of money to a trader whose food was thrown away by power-drunk Ebonyi State Commissioner for Capital Territory Development, Barrister Onyekachi Nwebonyi.

The trader identified as Mrs Ukpai was in tears after the Commissioner threw away her food on the ground.

Mrs Ukpai who was in tears said that was her only source of feeding her children.

The Senator who was moved by the condition of the woman; sent his media aide, Godfrey Chikwere to donate cash and replace her phone which was stolen during the ugly incident.

Mr Chikwere said while arrangement is being made to get a permanent place for Mrs Ukpai's business, Senator Ogba has replaced her damaged business in cash and replace her stolen phone with a brand new one.

According to sen. Ogba, "while we are not supporting any effort in making the state capital indecent, public office holders should know that they are ruling over human beings and not animals in an animal kingdom. We must therefore learn how to use human face in handling human activities".

Mrs Ukpai appreciated the Senator for the gifts and pleaded with Nigerians to help her get a place to stay permanently.
