In a surprising and unexpected development in Ebonyi, governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has ordered immediate arrest of some civil servants which he apprehended selling materials meant for the Primary Health Care centres and general hospitals in the State.



In a viral video seen by our correspondent, Governor Nwifuru was shocked seeing the materials which were meant to be distributed free being sold by the government officials.

Speaking over the ugly incident happened, the Special Assistant on New media, Mr Leo Oketa said

"earlier today, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru was out on inspection of projects. While still within the Centenary City premises, he instinctively requested his convoy to reverse into the State Ministry of Health block when he sighted a vehicle loading up some materials."

"Surprisingly, he saw the vehicle loading up for sale, relevant materials meant for the Primary Health Care centres and general hospitals in the State."
