Kingsley Moghalu, a presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has reacted after the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation ordered all offices to close at 1 p.

m. today.

According to a statement issued by Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe, Permanent Secretary (Service Welfare Office) for the Head of the Public Service of the Federation, the order was made to allow civil servants to attend the MKO Abiola Stadium to cheer on the Super Eagles when they face the Ghanaian Black Stars.

In response, Moghalu questioned the command on Twitter, claiming it was excessive.

He pondered what would happen to the wasted hours of potential productivity.

"I adore and support the @NGSuperEagles." However, isn't this going too far? What about the hours of potential output lost because the public service will be closed at 1 p.m. tomorrow for a football match?

"How productive are our civil servants?" you might wonder.
