The victims of the fire incident at Kenyatta market Enugu was on Monday visited and compensated by the executive governor of Enugu state, his Excellency gov ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.



 

The fire incident occurred at the wee ours of Sunday but through the intervention of the state fire service, the fire was put out successfully. The governor while addressing the victims thanked God that no life was lost as a result of the incident. He further assured them that his administration always put their interest first. He gave those that their shops got burnt the sum of one million naira each to aid them start over again. The victims were joyous and thanked the governor and assured him of their total votes for him in the upcoming election
