Beatrice was allegedly beaten to death by her husband, a man widely known in the area as M.O.B.

The unfortunate incident was said to have occurred around a new generation church located at New Road, Awolowo Road Extension, in Sapele, Delta State.

Reports also indicate that the husband had been seen in an intense argument with his wife.

The man had questioned her reason(s) for leaving home for the church while neglecting the house chores and her refusal to prepare him dinner.

Eye witnesses who observed the whole scenario said the man was not patient for his wife to explain herself before he slapped her and repeatedly gave her punches, resulting in the poor woman collapsing tothe floor.

Seeing the lifeless pregnant woman on the floor, residents and passers-by were said to have intervened and tried to rescue her by rushing her to the hospital.
