At the ongoing Presidential Election Petition Tribunal judgement in Abuja.



The court has ruled that there is no where in the Electoral Act where the Commission or its agent is mandated to use only electronic method in collating or transmitting election results.

The court argued that electronics transmission is to complement physical collation.

The Labour Party and PDP has argued for the annulment of the election based on this point.
