Fear and anguish is now the order of the day in port harcourt  as the lives of our girls are no more safe in the streets. There has been continuous reports of murder cases of young girls being murdered and tied in bed in various hotel rooms in different parts of the city of port harcourt. Not less than 5 young girls have been reported dead in the past months with their death having common connection as all were been killed and their hands and legs tied together in various hotel rooms. This has made us to believe that the killers has one common interest as they use similar method in snuffing life out of the young women. 

Some Nigerians have reacted to the ugly incident where majority of the people puts blame on the victims calling them runs girls and claiming they fell prey to the killers because of their street life and high quest for money but does that change the fact that some serial killers are walking freely in those streets?

The last incident was a different case as the victims were just workers in the said hotel. They actually went to attend to the customer in the room as he/she called for room service but they met their untimely end. One was killed and tied on the bed while the other managed to escape the room alive but later died at the religious house where she was taking to be revived.

Some young girls have taken to the streets to protest about the ongoing ugly incident.

We plead and Call on the federal and Rivers state government through the Nigeria police force and other security agents to come to the rescue of the residents by bringing the perpetrators to book so that peace and normality can return to the area.

Nobody's life is worth taking from him/her by force.!
