Tuesday 18th of February 2020 will be a hectic day at the Supreme Court in Nigeria as many political verdicts are up to be reviewed by the Apex court.

It should be noted that the 1999 constitution of Nigeria gives the Supreme the ultimate power of judiciary process, that is, the final place to seek judgement.

However, due to some political verdicts that are majorly related to the gubernatorial election of some states in the country, the supreme court in an unusual manner has decided to review her earlier verdicts.

The first verdict that draw attention of the people is the verdict made last month concerning Imo state election where the third runner up was declared the winner a situation that literarily stabs logic.

Another scenario is that of Bayelsa state, where the governor elect was sacked less than 24 hours before inauguration due to the negligence of his deputy.

Part of the case that are up for review is that of Zamfara state where the the All Progressive Congress was deleted from the election after clinching majority of the house of assembly seat and the governorship seat due to improper primary election.

Nigerians are eagerly waiting to see the outcome of the Apex court reviewed of verdicts, if the Apex court can overturn her verdict then there will be innumerable cases that will be reviewed.
