The robbery and murder suspect chidiebere Okechukwu was born into the home of a Christian parents in the early 90's.



He is a native of Enugu state though born and brought in umunnachi of dunukofia local government of anambra state. 

He attended his primary and secondary school in the same locality. Though his quest to live a bad and promiscuous life started during his secondary school days when he started keeping some bad gangs as friends and also joined a cult group and started taking part in some cult activities of which they caused menace to the umunnachi community and also the neighboring communities comprising of umudioka,ogidi and eziowelle. When their occurring cult activities and robbery got worse the umunnachi community through the help of the president general of the community declared him wanted and he was sent packing from the town. He then relocated with some of his friends to the nearby town umudioka where they continued terrorizing the town. Some concerned youths in umudioka also organized themselves and sent him away from their town in order to bring back peace and order to the community.

Chidiebere then went into oblivion and it was later discovered that he relocated to Lagos with some his friends. They later planned and stole a car from a lady in Lagos and was later arrested with some of his gang members on their way to sell the car and the car was recovered too. He served jail term for some months and was later released on some terms and conditions. He then relocated back to the east though he was not mostly seen in public places again until last week when they committed the robbery and murder crime again.

It was reported that chidiebere with some of his friends on Tuesday 16th of July 2019 at about 8am lured one Mr Chidi Mgbeanya aged 25 and also a tricycle (keke napep) owner and driver into conveying them to a particular place in umudioka. But on getting to a lonely road along st kizito girls secondary school umudioka, they ordered the tricycle owner to stop and one of them that was in the possession of a gun shot the man in the head and they made away with the tricycle. The young man being left in his own pool of blood died instantly. But chidiebere was arrested not quite long after through the help of some indigenes and the Nigeria police detectives attached to dunukofia and ogbunike alongside the vigilante groups. Though some of his accomplice are still at large, chidiebere is helping the police with further investigation.
