A tragic incident over an alleged affair has left two friends dead in the Ogume community, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State.



On Tuesday, Igala was allegedly stabbed to death by his friend Pedro, who was subsequently killed in a reprisal attack by a mob. The Police Public Relations Officer of the State Command, Mr. Bright Edafe, confirmed the killings yesterday.


Sources revealed that the deceased were from Ogbe-Ogume and Igbe Ogume quarters of the community and were both commercial motorcyclists (Okada riders). According to an anonymous source, the trouble began when Pedro had issues with his girlfriend, and Igala tried to intervene. Pedro suspected Igala of having an affair with his girlfriend, which escalated the situation. In a fit of rage, Pedro confronted Igala and stabbed him to death. Following this, a mob retaliated and killed Pedro.
