The Super Falcons of Nigeria will resume practice on Thursday as they prepare for their match against England in the round of 16 of the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

After a 0-0 draw on Monday against the Republic of Ireland, Randy Waldrum's team secured their place in the knockout round.

The technical staff gave the Falcons a two-day break following the match against the Girls in Green.

On Wednesday, the players went sightseeing in Brisbane as part of their recovery schedule.

On Thursday, they will resume training at the Lions FC Stadium.

Nigeria will be up against the Three Lionesses of England at Lang Park, Brisbane, on Monday.

It will be the fourth-ever meeting between both countries. Nigeria has won twice, while England has won once.

The encounter will kick off at 8:30 a.m. Nigerian time.
