At least two countries have qualified for the quarterfinals of the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, taking place in Australia and New Zealand.

The two countries are Spain and Japan.
This comes following the conclusion of Saturday’s Round of 16 fixtures.
Naijacrawl reports that Spain defeated Switzerland 5-1 in the Round of 16 fixture to advance to the last eight.
Japan, meanwhile, won 3-1 against Norway in the other Round of 16 encounter.
The Round of 16 fixtures will continue on Sunday.
South Africa will take on the Netherlands, while Sweden will clash with the United States.
