It was an ecstatic moment in many streets in Dakar, the capital city of Senegal yesterday has mammoth crowd welcomed the team after their AFCON 2021 victory.



It will be noted that the Senegal team won the 2021 edition of the competition, and it happened to be the first time the country will win.

The country has reached the final in 2002 and 2017 but lost the finals, however, they were lucky to beat Egpty during the penalty shoot-out.

The Senegal president declared yesterday as a work-free day for the people.
