Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper has said Ola Aina’s versatility and Premier League experience will help his side.
The Reds announced Aina’s arrival on a free transfer on Saturday.
The Nigeria international is making a return to the Premier League after a previous stint with Chelsea and Fulham.
The 26-year-old ended his four-year stay at Serie A club Torino following the expiration of his contract at the end of last season.
“He’s a versatile player who has good experience in the Premier League and Serie A. He’s a really good player, but a good athlete as well,” Cooper told the club’s official website.
“He’ll definitely make the team stronger, and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
Aina signed a one-year contract with options for the future.
