Ancelotti reacts to Benzema’s two penalties missed during Real Madrid’s latest win
Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has responded to striker Karim Benzema's two penalty misses against Osasuna on Wednesday.
In the away LaLiga tie against Osasuna at El Sadar, Benzema missed two penalties.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, won all three points against the hosts with goals from David Alaba, Marco Asensio, and Lucas Vazquez.
With the win, Real Madrid now leads the LaLiga table by 17 points after 33 games.
Reacting to Benzema’s two penalties missed, Ancelotti said at his post-match press conference: “If we’d been awarded a penalty, he would have taken it too, and the one after that."
“The only player who misses a penalty is the one who is brave enough to take one. He produced an amazing performance and did really well for the team. ”
